We were probably not the only ones taking advantage of the good weather last Sunday as we went to the Monbachtal. I already knew that it was supposed to be beautiful but what I didn’t know is how beautiful, and also so close to home (only a 30 minute drive) it was.
Of course I found a good route on the komoot app again. But since we only managed to start at 3:45 pm, we didn’t have enough time to do the whole 4,13 miles. But it was no problem at all to walk only a part of it. So we only did 2,63 miles. (A choice the kids really appreciated :-))
We went over roots, hill and dale. Nate (being almost 5 years old) was able to hike on his own almost the whole time. Only Noam needed a little bit of support from us so that he wouldn’t fall in the water. 🙂
The route is really beautiful. Our goal was to reach the most beautiful spot in the Monbachtal: The little waterfall.
We took almost the same way back and passed the, how Nate called it: dragon. 🙂 As a reward and motivation for the kids to keep going, we went on a playground at the end.
As a reward for us, we went to Bad Liebenzell to have dinner at an Indian restaurant. So far the best Indian food we’ve ever had in Germany. The restaurant is called: VEDA. If you’re in the area (or not) you should give it a try!
