After a long and mostly relaxing flight to Dallas and a subsequent 3 hour drive we arrived at our friends home in Oklahoma.
It was such a joy to finally see them again after three years. It was almost like we’d never said goodbye. Our two boys were also super happy to see their buddies again.
As it was almost unbearably hot (100 F) we didn’t plan on doing much except some light shopping and swimming in the pool. But that didn’t bother us at all. The temperatures didn’t really go down at night so we really welcomed the AC for probably the first time ever.
James took Mike to a gun range on Saturday morning (first time for Mike) to shoot some guns. A very memorable and fun experience, as Mike reported later.
For Saturday night we got invited to a huge charity event („Dancing for a miracle“) with live auctions and dance performances. It was our first time at an event like that.
We are so thankful for the great time and hospitality we got to enjoy in Oklahoma. Of course time passed way too quickly and on Monday morning we hopped our next plane – destination Fresno, CA.
