…until our big adventure begins. For our parental leave, we decided to leave Germany behind and spend 2 months in the US. It has been 3 years since our last trip to America, which means it’s about time we go back. On top of that, our extended family (Nate’s godparents) is living there and we haven’t seen them in over a year. The anticipation is rising and the preparations are in full swing. After things have gone back and forth, our route is now set. To minimise the stress for us and to get closer to nature in the national and state parks we decided to try something new – rent an RV. The resources and past trips of members at the Womo Abenteuer board were of invaluable help for us. Our (for now) final route takes us from California to Arizona, Utah, Nevada and back to California, is more than 2300 miles long and looks like this:
Most of the planning and booking is now done – but the most challenging part, packing kids & luggage, is still to come. We’ll keep you posted!
