On Tuesday we picked up our RV at 8:30 in the morning.

After getting an instruction we left at 11 am and drove south.

Because of the early-pickup we had plenty of time and even got the chance to get something to eat before heading to the campground. Thank god the parking areas in the US are big enough otherwise it would have been difficult. 😊

After we arrived at the campground we had to settle in and also went to the beach.

We couldn’t wait to see the Salaris. Fortunately whe didn’t have to wait long. In the evening they came to see us. It was really great and even Nate was happy to see them. Especially when he saw that Katie brought him some toys for the sand and started playing with him. After such an exciting day, we had to go to bed early cause we were so exhausted.

The Campground is really nice. I mean is there something more beautiful than hearing the waves crash at night and waking up from it. 😊 During the day it is getting pretty warm. Unfortunately I didn’t bring any summer clothes for the kids. (I mean why would I it is snowing at home 😜) That’s why we drove to the outlet center first thing in the morning. After 1 1/2 hours in the Carter’s shop (Michael was entertaining the kids outside and got his first sunburn this year.) the kids had plenty of stuff to wear. After that we were heading to IKEA. By the way IKEA in the US is the same as IKEA Germany except the Hotdogs. There’s no place where you can get some pickles and onions.

For dinner we went to Katie and Reza. Oh man, how we’ve missed having Reza’s BBQ. 😊 Nate only got eyes for the cats.

He never stopped looking for them and was chasing after them all the time. The cats weren’t happy at all and were glad when we left. We went to bed very tired but happy that night.
