Yesterday we decided on the fly to visit the Cueva el Soplao, a huge dripstone cave about 1 1\/4 hours away from us. It really is a special experience: it starts with a small cable car train that transports you into the cave. Then the actual tour starts with light & sound effects and detailed informations from our guide (of which we understood maybe like 2%). But this did not hinder us nor the kids to enjoy the wondrous, almost magical cave full of stalactites, stalagmites, pillars and little mirror-like lakes. Unfortunately photography was forbidden so you\u2019ll just have to go there yourself – we can highly recommend it. After the 1 hour tour we had our lunch break with a breathtaking view of the Picos de Europa, a unique and famous mountain range in Cantabria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
