For our parental leave, we decided to leave Germany behind\u00a0and spend 2 months in the\u00a0US. It has been 3 years\u00a0since our last trip\u00a0to America, which means it&#8217;s\u00a0about time we go\u00a0back.\u00a0<!--more-->On top of that, our extended family (Nate&#8217;s godparents) is living there and we haven&#8217;t seen them in over a year. The anticipation is rising and the preparations are in full swing. After things have gone back and forth, our route is now set. To minimise the stress for us and to get closer to nature in the national and state parks we decided to try something new &#8211; rent an RV. The resources and past trips of members at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womo-abenteuer.de\">Womo Abenteuer<\/a> board were of invaluable help for us.
